My idea of the perfect
summer’s day
is to go for a walk
perhaps cliff top
overlooking the sea
then descend
hand in hand
to arrive at a bar, for
a pint
and later a meal
sitting out
and enjoying sun and
a gentle breeze.
Later, home
and the day is
made better still
by the calm that still
prevails.
