there were thoughts and
words and
ideas
falling
like snow flakes
in front of me
ephemeral
beautiful
no two alike
though
all of them
similar.
Now
beer salts the thoughts
as
the mind rots
happy in inebriation
and meanings
intentions and
the rest
slide away
lost without care
for the rest of the night
A short film that I helped on, The Applicant, will be having its premiere at the Bite the Mango Film Festival in Bradford.
The Applicant will be screened as part of the Slices of Mango 3 programme of short films on 24th September 2006, at 11.45 am, in the Cubby Broccoli theatre at
the National Museum of Film & Photography, Bradford.
